YAI/iPalpiti alumnus, KenAiso will appear the same night at the Disney Hall,

8pm with Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique.

Prize winner of prestigious Long-Thibaud Concours & International Music Competition of Japan, Ken has appeared as soloist in televised and broadcast concerts with the Tokyo Symphony and BBC orchestras, performs widely in the UK, Europe, U.S.A. and Japan in solo recitals and in chamber music  with partners like Steven Isserlis and Lynn Harrell.

In 2003, he was honored to appear as soloist before the Emperor and Empress of Japan.  He also teaches at the Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Ken has commissioned several works from contemporary composers, notably Richard Michael, Alasdair Nicolson and Jonathan Lloyd. Some of these works are recorded on his CDs. (SPEX-OVCX-00001, SPEX-OVCX-00008)  .CDs of Bach’s Six Sonatas for violin and harpsichord is planned for release in 2006.
